Question Regarding Media Rank

I am Furball, the owner of the YouTube channel FurballTheHammy and currently have 30K+ subscribers and averaging around 20-30K views a video, who usually makes Hypixel Skyblock content and have YouTube rank on the Hypixel Network.

Recently, I've tried out Wynncraft after being bored of sweating Skyblock and I've started to really enjoy it.

I've read around older forum posts that you need to have a video about Wynncraft in order to get the Media rank? (Correct me, I'm not really sure about this).

I will try my hand at making a couple videos on Wynncraft but I'm just wondering where do I apply for it? Because unlike Hypixel there isn't an official website for content creators to contact staff regarding such issues.

From the Wynncraft Wiki: "you need to have at least 10,000 subscribers on YouTube and have at least 1 video about Wynncraft". I know the Wiki is no official source, but still probably right.

That seems like the best way, although I don't know whether Mods can give you the Media rank. On the Wiki it suggests messaging Salted via twitter (@CraftedMovie).

There aren't any specific requirements as such, I would suggest 10k subs and a video about Wynncraft, but getting in touch with a moderator is the best way to find out if you can get it.

 

Yes, the wiki itself is official, but that doesn't mean every piece of information in it has been confirmed by staff members.

Also you can't really say something is incorrect when there was no claim in that post, I was just quoting the wiki and stating I was unsure.

To come back to the question itself, of course contacting a staff member would be the first step to confirm the requirements, although (as already stated) they might not be able to give you the role.

 

All the info there is correct. And if it isn't it should be reported immediately to me or the wiki discord (or other editors of course).

Having seen others ask the same question, they are always told to speak to a mod (and I think I have even seen mods say this - can't exactly remember though).
What's wrong with saying that something is incorrect if it is?

Always cool to see another hsb YouTuber interested in wynn. I'd suggest starting a conversation with a mod/admin, as stated above.

I'd rather not get into this again, but please don't be like this. Last time we had an influx from Skyblock, literally nothing happened different than any other influx of players. Wait and see how they are on a different server before judging, there's been quite a few threads on this last time.

I suggest sending Colin350 a private message on the forums. Admins can give you the Media rank, and he is generally pretty active and responsive when it comes to this stuff

 

Sorry, I realize that was not the right thing to post.
I've just seen people come here to purposely annoy us, and that's made me a bit tetchy.
But other course everyone is different, hopefully new people will come and enjoy the game.

 

I mean TommyInnit made one, and the server hasn't gone to crap, and TommyInnit has a lot of subs. I'd argue that DreamSMP fans are quite possibly worse than HSB players.
