I got blocked by a barrier blocks which usually prevents players like me from going to top of hills.


Pass the first parkour in CIP with another guy, I was like 2 steps away from him(despite he kinda somewhat quit the same CIP run for some reason), somehow I ended up in front of barrier block, and granted me a chance to feel what it's like to call my homie in jail , also did the classic /class trick ,

/kill (YES! YES! YES!) is your best friend when you're stuck with barrier/stranger-zoned by the hanging man

If you're having a real problem just go through that part of the dungeon one at a time. Wynncraft is super buggy at times, but it's smth we all deal with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I did CIP 3 times yesterday and the first time was OK. In my 3rd run, I got stuck with the hanged man so I had to /class myself. Just do CIP until you can do CUC because that's a much better dungeon and there aren't many good grind spots for that level range. TBH the boss fight in CIP is like 10x easier than the "slay" sections of the dungeon.

 

I did cip the other day, and I found that the problem with the barrier blocks at the hanging man is that there are, in fact, two rows of barrier blocks. One keeps you away from the hanging man before the dialogue finishes - you want to press against this one as quickly as possible. The second spawns in near the end of the dialogue, a few blocks farther away from the man, to stop you from going back on yourself after the hanging man mob spawns in. The problem is, if you're not in between the two rows BEFORE the second spawns, you get permanently locked out of the rest of the dungeon unless everyone leaves or uses /class.

 

People should be able to play the game properly. Barrier blocks are the bane of existence on wynn to this day(I'm looking at you, orange cybel getting stuck in the wall and ceiling for the 42816257812th time as an example). I can understand the frustration of a person having to deal with something this ridiculous at times without understanding of how to deal with it properly. Perhaps venting it here may not be the most proper way to go about it, but we all have definitely ran into this situation and wondered in the back of our head "bruh" at times.

For future reference, I'd do /class with your group and tell them to wait for about 5 seconds in the class section to ensure that the dungeon is completely reset. If that does not work, then I'd go to another world through /hub, and complete the dungeon through there. If you run into another group/same issue, swap out until you find another world eventually that dosen't have this issue. You'll be able to complete the dungeon by then.

Barriers are absolutely stupid you should be able to abuse tp and fly over all of them without suddenly getting stuck

 

If we are thinking about the same camp, he reason for the barriers is that it is technically a cave

So they don't want you cheesing it by just teleporting over the camp to the chest

 

Yeah Ik that but the number of people who have tried and failed to cheese it is probably smaller than the number of people who get stuck on it while flying

 

They should just make the barriers a dome

 

Yeah I hate this dungeon...

also somehow I F up my first run of CUC last night lol , i managed to wall hug the boss, he decides to fuse into the wall lol

PSA:I have cleared CDS around 50 times, its good lv 85 now,just in 1 day

 

took me 5 mins to spam vanish(jump boost to reach him) + multi rapid combo
and got him unstuck, then he walks back down , i was like WHAT?!?

 

Fixed in 1.20
