Do End Portals Still Exist?

So, I recently did the quest "Fantastic Voyage" and (spoilers) found that there are now a total of five portals in the overworld. (The Nether Portal, Realm of Light Portal, Dern Portal, Gateway Portal, and the broken (gateway?) the portal you come through in the abandoned mines), but then I remembered there were originally end portals in like, 2016.

But the map has changed a lot since then so my question is if they still exist or not? Would be really cool if they did :P

I though it was gone.

It's pretty cool that it isn't but I wonder what they're going to do with this.

EDIT : Well, the wooden entrance to the portal is now blocked in 1.20 hero beta. RIP.
