Art I Made A Game.

It's a top down dungeon crawler like game, but it's not that well planned out. The game is not very long either, so you should be able to finish it in 1 sitting. It's the first game I worked on outside of Wynncraft so I hope it's cool :D. Also, I have been told it's very hard. The game is called TigerLily: Escape The Dungeon.

-I didn't know what prefix to use, so I used art because I made the pixel art.
-Also yea this was made like 7 months ago, I just forgot about it because I got busy with wynncraft stuff lol.

Extremely poggers of a a game, the art is gorgeous as well. Will definitely play more once I can.

 

Honestly I struggle with the boss a lot too. I can do every room first try no problem, but the boss just destroys me every time.

 

The boss, difficult and it seems to get faster. Awesome job! Its a really good game

i feel like the boss is way too powerful compared to the rest of the game. What usually happens to me is that in the phase where the boss becomes fast, it just sort of "sits on me", and I take repeated damage, with escaping being difficult. Maybe make the boss bounce in the opposite direction after damaging you with a melee hit?

btw I loved Everpresence in the game, it sounds much better than what it sounds like in Wynn for some reason. Now I see why people like the song so much.

main things i would like to see is the addition of invincibility frames in the boss stage (maybe they are already there, in which case, extend them, as they had no noticeable impact) in order to address the fact that at the fast stage of the boss it just sits on you and there is nothing you can do. pretty tilting.
also potentially a delay at the start of some of the earlier levels, because on my first playthrough i took a life or two instantly because i didn't know what some of the new enemies were. subsequent playthroughs this wasn't a problem though.

definitely a really fun game though!

this is very pog, boss is really hard without a mouse tho ;-;
i can probably beat it later when i can use my mouse, but other than that, the games great!

 

Bruh the boss is a ginormous power spike. Also, spam clicking with the mouse is big sad and would recommend holding space or just holding the click to also allow you to fire in succession. Also, once the boss hits the second stage it feels unfair cus the boss zooms at you occasionally, making you unfairly lose a life, or worse trapping you and making you die.
