Community Event [now Over] The Owwc New Years Event

Hello! To celebrate the coming (and hopefully better) year, the OWWC has decided to host a new years event!

What is the OWWC?
We are a small committee of people dedicated to welcoming the newbies who arrive in Llevigar’s Docks. We strive to always welcome people warmly and make sure they have a good first impression of the forums. The letters in our name stand for the Official Wynncraft Welcoming Committee, although we aren’t exactly official. However, one day we hope to be!

This event will take place on December 30th, in Detlas at 7:22 pm UTC sharp. We will be using shout bombs to announce which wc it will be held on about 5 minutes before the first activity starts. If you are not level 100+, don’t worry, we’ve tried to make our events able to be done by lower levels. This event will consist of 5 different activities. And do not fret, there will be prizes to be won!

Spoiler: The Start

Once everyone is gathered together, we will be using some party and disguise bombs to start the chaos. There honestly isn’t much more to it… just fun and chaos. :)

Spoiler: Scavenger Hunt

Once we’ve used enough bombs, we will start a scavenger hunt! The first clue will be shouted, and lead you and your team to a specific location. If you think you’ve figured it out, go to where you think it leads! If you’re correct, a member of the OWWC will be waiting there, ready to give you your next clue. The first team to make it to the final location wins 32LE!

You didn’t win the scavenger hunt? Well, we’ll give you a prize anyway! Who’s ready for some item bombs? I know I am!

Spoiler: Gimkit

It’s like a Kahoot, but it doesn’t require a screen share! Join with the code given, and earn the most money by answering questions correctly by the end of the game! Sabotage others, and climb the leaderboard to try to win the sweet first place reward of 32LE! If you’ve never played, here’s a tutorial video.

Spoiler: DIE, CHARON, DIE

Well, even if you didn’t win the Gimkit and the excellent prize it may or may not have had, there’s still fun to be had! Everyone will meet up again at the forgery and prepare to blow the 50 players EO run out of the water (ok maybe not but still). We’ll use a dungeon bomb as well as disguise bombs, and everyone will charge into CUC and wreck Charon as no cow or chicken has before.

We recognize that this event is technically before New Years, but that won’t change how much fun it is!
