How Much Money Does One Have To Put Into A Contest To Make It Worth Someone's Time?

When I actually become not broke™ I plan on holding contests for lore writing/location finding and stuff like that, so my question is how much money do I have to plug into the prize pool to make it worth people's time? Giving it in terms of time needed like "____ LE for a contest that takes around an hour to submit an entry" would be extremely helpful.

Giveaways and rank giveaways are allowed. Donation pools, normal tier items, or under 1LE are not allowed for giveaways. “Lotteries” are not allowed because they can easily be rigged and used to scam.

 

Contests, not giveaways. IE whoever is the first to find something or stuff like that

 

some people would do stuff cause they are bored for free but I guess its just your idea of how much effort needs to be put in and then how much they get out of the effort

 

Honestly, do whatever amount you want as long as you follow the rules. Speaking from experience, there's always gonna be that one guy who complains the prize is too small not matter what, so just do whatever prize you can afford and think fits.
