Mage/Dark Wizard (lvl 65) How Bad Is My Build? + Suggestions To Improve It

    how bad is it? it is mainly focused on mana regen (and by mainly i mean it was the only stat i cared about basically except for OPW) so i dont expect the damage to be considered anything special
    maybe some "tankier" rings? a tanky chestplate? i dunno help me improve it if you want

    If I were to guess, Ultramarine is something to stick with for some time, especially at your level, the wand could be replaced with something like Ohonte Kerhite, especially with your intelligence, and the rings could probably be better like maybe Quartron's Eye, Draoi Fair and Marble. For the necklace, for some reason if you wanted to have mana steal, Dark Diadem isn't bad despite being lv 24, Luminis might be better I'd say, or maybe even the Generator Amulet.
    Edit: Tear of Pirate Cove is probably a keeper for now, the only thing that could beat it would be Dragon's Eye Bracelet I'd say but you'd possibly have to restructure your who build at that point.

    Assuming MR id is maxed on your armor, you definitely do not need that much (most spell spam builds only have a max of 12/4sec) so a lot of that extra mana regen is going to waste, since MR will kick in and bring you back up to full if you're spell cancelling (as you should be). So I would AT LEAST swap out all accessories for either more elemental defense (unless being a glass tank is your thing) or something to boost your damage. And I also would suggest using Ohonte Kerhite since your intel allows it

    Technically 12 out of 17 of the mana regen is coming from Ultramarine and putting in Ohonte Kerhite would add more mana regen which would lead back to the same problem so, regardless, I think the extra mana regen is inescapable unless different wand is used which I can't think of any better wand at that level except Pure which is a mythic.

    17 mana regen is overkill
    also aim for 129 intelligence, and then put skillpoints to defense or agility

    ultramarine itself is solid for mage, the wand is too
    wouldnt waste t5 powders on olux myself

    For the most part, here is what I'd recommend so far from this thread.
    For lv 65, it depends on how you want to go, more damage or defense.
    • If you want more damage for basically the same defense, either of the builds I gave should work but it would render you a glass cannon somewhat but it would have the same defense as you do currently.
    • If you want defense over damage, the build weeb gives would work well as it gives a good defense and slightly better spell costs at the cost of your damage being the same.
    For level 70, go with what weeb also suggested as it will give you cheap spell costs, good stats across the board, and better damage. If you thought of replacing Ethereal for Ohonte Kerhite, it wouldn't work(https://wynndata.tk/s/patcmi)

    also last question (hopefully) what is a "glass tank"? someone who does a lot of dmg but doesnt have a lot of defense?

    Also, here is a build that kind of an in between build of damage and defense that I think is your best bet. I was able to get Dragon's Eye in there to reduce the spell costs down to near perfection(dang you heal...) and it still has a respectable damage I think with a good size defense.

    If you want infinite tp, Warp is what you'd want if you can stomach getting stx of le for it.

    Stacks of Liquid Emerald or 64 liquid emerald makes 1 stack. Warp can cost 20+ times that.
