Community Event Unofficial 2020 Winter Event! [ Event Ended ]

As another Southern Hemisphere, I can confirm Christmas is not quite what you'd expect. Our trees are all green, unless they're the white plastic variety, pools, beaches and barbecues are staples every year. We do have turkey, but it's pretty expensive and you won't find a turkey in a supermarket any other time of year.

Poor Santa has to wear furry red suit, boots, and hat all through summer, where it's pretty constantly 30 deg C, humid, and our sun is a whole lot warmer than the rest of the world's anyway because we didn't look after the Ozone layer. A warm fireplace is definitely not what we'd like, more like ice cream and whatever cold beverages you can get your hands on.

In fact, there has never been snow on my lawn, holly grows it's berries in July, and Christmas lights turn at 8.30.

Often July party themes are midwinter Christmas.

For the skin competition, do you have to have made the skin yourself, or is it judging the skin you have on? Because if it's the former, then I have to start making a Christmas skin. XD
