Most Fun Class?

So I just want to know the people's opinions on the most fun class to play. Not the best class, or the easiest, just the most fun.

 

Not shaman, it is braindead.
Not warrior, it is too bad

Archer or Assassin

 

what about mage?

 

Warrior because I am crazy.

 

I personally like shaman the best because of how you are able to play tactically (Or you can just auraspam ig) but to me it is the most satisfying class, one downside is transport because it uses two movement spells to move at the same speed or less of the other classes.

I'd say Archer by far, you do high damage but have bad defense. Assassin has good DPS too but in reality it's just an easy Archer with less range. Mage and Warrior can basically outlive their opponents so it's not as fun, and Shaman requires 3 spells to have 1 already active.

 

I really like archer and assassin. With archer I can strafe crazy fast around the target from far and spam arrow bomb and arrow storm. With assassin I can go in and throw down 6 spells at once, though I have to be careful not to die.

 

Mage is a decent beginner class because heal and teleport are really good when you're learning the game, but it's a really slow class which isn't super fun in the endgame where mobs constantly teleport and your main damage spell takes an hour to actually hit anything.

Archer and assassin are fun because they do a lot of damage, really fast and have really nice mobility options which is something none of the other classes really have. They deal lots of damage without any real setup being required (no totem, no delay on damage) and so the only real concern with those classes is where your player is relative to what you're fighting which allows for a lot more freedom, which I personally find more fun.

 

archer and assassin. both are coolant but assassin wins due to having more combo potential and a higher skill ceiling

mage is chill. imo it's not as boring as people usually make it out to be

warrior is chad, but not quite as fun as arc/ass

shaman is braindead. except melee shaman. melee shaman is game.

 

I've only ever done three classes, but if you want to progress, I would reccomend Shaman.
Yes, many people call it 'braindead' because of Auraspam, but it is quite easy to do quests, and I quite enjoy it.
Archer is pretty good, but it's very easy to die because of the low defence (which Shaman also has), but it also has no heal spell (unlike Shaman).
Lastly, I would not recommend Mage, because of how hard it is early-game.
In the higher levels, there are some really good builds for Mage, but this is quite late-game when you have died 100 times to bosses already.

 

I love mage because it is very weak at the beginning and gets stronger as you play. At the beginning you dont do any damage and have no damage spell, later you have a mighty meteor tho.

Other fun classes are: Assassin and Shaman.

Archer is also somewhat fun but dont choose warrior. Its rather annoying and less fun imo

Shaman is not 'braindead'.
Some people have this problem that being able to spam Aura makes you 'braindead' and so Shaman is evil.
I don't get it personally, but it seems to be a pretty popular opinion here on the forums.

I would argue that you aren't using enough auras before you uproot, but many classes have good combos.

 

My morph+the watched doesn't allow it, otherwise I can't keep up properly

 

Shaman is almost fun but you can't really move the totem so you can't do anything interesting with it as present. Barring that, Archer and Assassin are definitely the most fun classes imo. (the reasons against Mage and Warrior have already been well-described above)

If you want Auraspam, use high mr weapons such as Cryoseism.

 

Mage and Warrior are my two favourite classes to play. Mage takes the W though, I have nearly 1000 hours on just my Mage for a good reason :blobsweat:
