    Damn, borrrrreal and hetusol were nerfed hard when it comes to earth and thunder dmg, these nerfs are entirely undeserved... health regens cutting in half? oh thats totally normal ahah not like WFA tanking is pretty trash at dealing dmg in a dmg oriented meta ahahah its a shame WFA Tanking is shittier now ahah cutting its only use on cancer hetusol and borreal seems totally fine ahah not like they were ever used but for thunder and earth dmg builds ahah

    Imo the boreal nerf was deserved. Prob got nerfed a bit harder than needed but it was deserved cause it and eden blessed alone can near single handedly carry an hpr tank. On the plus tho exhaustion should now see some use as its sp req is low enough to be useful as a non mythic boreal alt, so I suppose boreal is a bit more in line with the other two hpr boots now.
    That said the hetusol nerf I agree was way to much. There is little reason to use the item over a damage option in my opinion as the hpr it provides to tanks is mediocre at this point.

    EDIT: Also with wfa note that in this patch it is getting a handful of new damage options which should help it out alot. However I still have my doubts about wfa cuz with the overall hpr nerf I am unsure mythicless wfa builds are going to remain in notable viability outside of morrow, nepta, and tidebinder

    its fairly common for fanta or singu builds however with both of them getting reqs reduced and the stardust nerf we won't be seeing it on any non gravity builds.

    Okay an item change that is really nagging me that I think needs to happen is gravity. Why have we not gotten a buff to it? The reqs on it, a rainbow tank chestplate, are higher than on every rainbow mythic by 50 skill points post patch. I am one of the few people who bothers using it because some of the rainbow mythics had reqs of around 50 so im like "oh 55 isn't to hard to work it in" but now that fanta is being reduced to 45 and singu to 42 there is basically no reason to invest the extra skill points for gravity when you can already get nearly as much tank and more damage and sustain with other options to just gain better builds. At a total of 275 skill points I should be getting my defenses nullified or some insane sustainability ESPECIALLY given I also lose an attack tier, walk speed, and spell damage. The item is so fundamentally flawed it really only was at all useful for some extra tank on already high req mythics and for the major id in niche rainbow greed tanks, and even both of these it is still far from the best option. Why can't we see some big changes to make this item as powerful as it should be?

    The reason Gravity has been largely ignored for a while, as well as many other underwhelming rainbow armours such as Neutrino and Leadlights, is because we as a team have been working on endgame rainbow armour as a whole. Within the past few days, we've finally got a bunch of rebalance subs up that we're discussing internally, but the high sp/stealing from other archetypes concept we're going with for some armours has the potential to be EXTREMELY busted, so it's taking a while. We want to push all of the endgame rainbow armour changes at once, so don't worry! Gravity will be getting some love hopefully sooner rather than later.

    Spring not getting it's original buff is pretty bad ngl. Still has the problem of basically being a crafted. And what is with divzer!? Rip all non glass builds :(

    All the health regen nerfs to armor feel a bit severe... why are we nerfing tank builds?

    If anyone is wondering, this is the buff that abso got in 1.19.3 because people were saying abso wasn’t strong enough to be a mythic....

    Looking back at pre buff abso, I think the nerf is overkill. Especially the total removal of defense sp and the base damage reduction. Especially after realizing abso doesnt have a powder slot and can't benefit from courage. I think a nerf is needed, but not to this degree.

    Without the sp its definitely just a worse version of pre buff abso.

    New builds have to make huge compromises in order to reach 150 defense to tank again. Abso loses a huge amount of its tankiness through the sp alone.

    From June 2020 when freedom got a 3% dmg nerf.

    Reminder that freedom still hasnt received any actual nerfs or updates, and is given a completely different approach "in steps" to divzer and now to abso, which just got big nerfs slapped on. I really hope the item team listens to the huge player feedback about divzer before pushing this.

    Absolution basically turned anyone who used it into a supertank that couldn't be flinched no matter how much damage they took. Time Rift made it even worse. You didn't have to pay attention whether or not you were healing, all you had to do was actively go on an offensive and keep your Totem up. One might say, mythics are supposed to make the game easier, sure, but not this easy. And because the nature of the class, reaching even 15k damage auras can be devastating for huge groups of enemies (note: while Courage can't be used, Endurance exists). You could toss around your Totem with Uproot and use Aura to literally vacuum up hordes, and the weapon even gave you 5 mana regen just so. You didn't necessarily had to use Time Rift to abuse the hell out of it, but that certainly pushed it beyond a limit. Having 2 totems out already made a difference because the high healing one could perform. While the % you heal has been nerfed among the recent patches, the weapon will still be very reliable.

    The mana and hp nerfs are not too impactful, so I won't go into details about them, however these two nerfs alone wouldn't be proper, as Absolution would still be way too strong. The damage nerf was necessary. For a weapon being able to tank outstandingly well, it shouldn't have the power to also easily wipe armies. Also mind that even after the nerf it still has enough damage. And new builds don't have to "make huge compromises in order to reach 150 defense to tank again". If something 1-shot you before, it'll 1-shot you in the future aswell. The difference is taking 70% less damage with 115 Defense vs. taking 80% less damage with 150 Defense. You don't need 150 Defense to properly tank. If you can consistently heal yourself, that alone counts as tanking. Not standing still and praying your defense sp would save you from hundreds of arrows but moving and using your skills to your advantage is another great way to reduce incoming damage. Absolution is very good at both of these.

    Tl;dr: The nerf is justified.
