Ive asked this question to a few people but i mainly got "I think..." and "Im not sure but..." and nothing really helpful. I think its because i asked the question a bit confusingly. So ill try to make the question here as simple as possible.

Would i get the same or different amount of XP from these recipes?
    Gold bars + tier 1 level 30 mats - https://wynndata.tk/cr/327915878
    Gold bars + tier 3 level 30 mats - https://wynndata.tk/cr/109384284
    Gold bars + tier 1 level 40 mats - https://wynndata.tk/cr/998759621

I would like to know if the materials (rather than ingredients) you use for crafting effect the XP you get. And is it tier of the materials? Level?

Yes. If you craft at a higher level (when you craft on a higher level you have to use higher level materials) you get more xp.

If higher tier materials give you more xp ... I dont know.

yeah, the exact details are unknown I think but higher tier materials will give more xp. Higher level materials also give more xp. I think t3 of the previous level is probably more than t1 of the next, though

Yeah, the higher materials mean more xp, which are about:
    3 t1 crafts to a t2 craft
    5 t1 crafts to a t3 craft
I’m not sure how much the xp jump is from level 30 to 40 materials, but I’m 90% sure it’s better just to use the higher level stuff (other than maybe t3).
So in order from least to most:
    Level 30 t1
    Level 30 t3
    Level 40 t1
