Would You Want A Big Youtuber To Come To Wynncraft Or Not?

The server would need more support, but maybe the new players would buy ranks...

However, it'd be cool to have some more exposure from other youtubers, it just depends on what the servers can handle, because having an influx of tens of thousands of players might not be the best thing that could happen.

 

Depends on which one. If it's someone like Dream definitely not, as the community is one of the best parts of Wynncraft and some youtubers like Dream, while they make good videos, have a terrible fanbase.

 

Where's the <What's wrong with Olinus10 and Rene and AsherWasHere and all the other Youtubers that do primarily Wynncraft content> option on the poll?

Technoblade comes to the server every now and then but he doesn't make videos on it

 

It really depends who it is: someone from hermitcraft or grian itself making a video about it brings a lot of people to the server to the point of huge lag, but they are usually really chill, but if someone like tommy introduced wynncraft for his community, not only would the server die from so many people playing, his community isn't the most mature, and it isnt that hard to see what happens when you try to make a good server gamemode but the community is completely toxic (HSB)

 

It's always cool to see the community grow, but for some reason it always annoys me when I some large streamer or youtuber playing something and they have no clue what they are doing.

 

As someone who has used Minecraft since 2009, I've pretty much seen the pattern of how it goes.

Youtuber comes on the server, they do a few videos grinding to the maximum rank/role achievable, leave once that is done, taking a large majority of the fanbase with them. The biggest gain the server would obtain is a potential increase in revenue from the shop for that period, but that's all it will be, a spike. Most Youtubers (like jacksepticeye as you listed) need to have a constant change of content, and though there is absolutely a lot in Wynncraft for them to discover, they need to fulfill the needs of their many many fans, to which a good enough amount certainly won't be thrilled. They follow trends, not niche communities.

The best possible person would be someone whose fanbase revolves around the Youtuber staying on a specific game/server for a long period of time. Most of the big ones are not like that. But honestly, for the advertisement this server has received and/or created, it has a pretty loyal fanbase that many others don't.

 

Like would you be ok if Call me Kevin (Jim pickens channel) came to the server? I don't know if you know who that is, but if you do, would you be ok with it?

 

I mean, it doesn't really matter if I'm "ok" with it, nor was that ever a situation. I'm just saying that if you want a big Youtuber to come to this server to provide something, it should be someone who by default follows a specific thing for a while. I took a look at the person you listed, and they pretty much go from one thing to the next. I don't see them genuinely playing the server for more than 2-3 episodes at most.

 

bruh grian co-owns the server and never mentions it. his first video was how to make corruption spikes and has a shot of the old roots of corruption...
