Ahhhh It Happened Again :c

This happened to me previously once my shaman and now it happened with my archer during the same quest and everything, its like I'm cursed or something

I went afk in a town IN a bank in olux and I went afk and died over and over and lost everything! >:c

I recently got wynntills and set the afk safety thing on but it didn't work out :(

bummed out about losing everything.

 

Sorry to hear that. Next time try to get above ground, find a shelf or something. Or don't afk at all...

there's a hostile bug type mob that spawns in the olux bank for some reason
i guess the idea is to show how run-down olux is, but it's really annoying since it easily kills you if you afk in the bank and there are no guards there
in the future, i'd recommend always afking on top of some structure if you aren't in a well-fortified town (cinfras, detlas, rodoroc, etc.) just in case something gets in

ok, but have you considered this:

don't afk anywhere

 

AFK = "Asking For Kill"

Just log off if you're unsure the place you're in is safe. It takes 10 seconds to get back on. Better than grinding for 10 hours to get everything back.

Don't Afk, use /class when you are not directly at your computer.
If you really have to, stand on top of a very tall tree in a location where random hostile mobs don't spawn.

 

olux is like the most garbage place to afk at
but as some others have said, if you need to go afk do /class

at least you die to hostile mobs

in corkus the guards miss and hit you instead of the hostile mob that isnt even attacking you
and they do a lot more damage
