To Any Hero Players, Is 1.20 As Good As 1.19?

So it seems this update is good overall, but there are a lot of issues with it. Just for a reference, 1.18 is my least favorite modern update.

Is it possible to get lost in canyon of the lost now?

 

Better on the technicality that it has more stuff. Nothing about the game is really actually better though, it's still the same game with the same great parts and problems, if you liked it before you'll like it now and if you didn't before you won't now.

 

Lore got fixes, so yes.

 

Even though this update has many great features, I can say with certainity that it also is the update with the most bad features.

 

I think it's too early to tell. Keep in mind that stuff is always subject to rebalance, and some of the most hyped features like the colossus raid aren't even added yet. But personally, I feel like opinions of the update will vary depending on how much players like or dislike all the various changes, since rather than it being a "new stuff update", a larger portion of the update is reworks.

 

They aren't going to try in like 2 years reverse the changes are they? I have been hoping for years that fruma is added, but dern also is on the tables now. I hope this is the last revamp update, as the 1.18 update, a revamp, was personally a reason I stopped playing.

 

I like the Wynncraft update model of adding new areas and a QoL update later so it keeps the game fresh. I understand why you would think waiting a whole year for a update that doesnt add new massive areas is disappointing, but remember that to get to Silent Expanse for example, the player needs to go to every area of the game before, and whats the point of having a cool new endgame area if the player has to do boring old quests and go to old looking regions before it has access to the new cool stuff.

 

Yeah but I think there have been enough revamps. Personally, I think they are currently working on fruma because there was a new area they were working on in TommyInnit's video that they said would take AT LEAST 1 year. So it isn't gavel, and I doubt they are adding something to wynn. So, I think Fruma is the next update. They have revamped every part of the game at this point. They can add new stuff.

From what I've heard, there's a lot of people who aren't terribly thrilled about some of the item ID changes (rip to Divzer and Diamond Hydro Necklace) which is expected to break quite a few builds, but other than that, I think lore and environment wise everything is amazing, it definitely doesn't feel like the same gavel it first was
