SPOILER I Just Cleared All The Dirt From My Housing Plot. I Now Have Carpal Tunnel.

Instead of trying out the new raids or guild rework or gavel quests / discoveries, I've spent the last 7 hours clearing the layers of dirt from my plot.
I enjoy building quite a lot, and I realized that the terrain offered by the plots just wouldn't do, so I cleared it away in the only method I know: clicking... a lot... it's a whole lotta dirt ok



It took me seven hours, but I did it, and my hand is numb, and I'd like you to know. Perhaps this can also serve as a suggestion, maybe there could be a tool/command of some kind that clears away all the dirt and stuff for crazy builders like me that want to hand terraform the whole thing.

Anyway, there are some cool things about the island that you might find interesting.

Here's what it looks like with all the dirt gone:

And it looks like when whichever builder pasted the gears into the underside of the island, it ended up causing a bunch of holes and stuff, could make for a cool escape hatch or something if you integrate it into your plot well (not knocking the build team at all, they did great work on the whole update, just having some fun is all):

Fun Fact: clearing away all the dirt like I did will fill all 12 pages of your bank entirely, so you'll have to throw most of it over the edge onto the poor heads of those innocent detlas citizens, what a shame.

Anyway, this is about all I have to show for my last 7 hours of hero beta-ing. What do you guys plan to build on your housing plots? If I build something nice I'll probably post it here, maybe not who knows.

 

i was going to do this but immediately gave up. They should totally add some sort of editing tool to quickly change things.

 

ohh its nice to know that you can remove that dirt and that there are those escape holes... Love them

btw are there no tools like a pickaxe or shovel to remove the dirt?

 

none that I could see, or at least none that were made readily available in any way

 

ohh god. Building is going to be a pain. Are the tools for materials and professions real tools you can use?

I remember relics being shovels and for example my Icy Dagger skin, is a Diamond Pickaxe
