Leveled From 0 Mining To 50 Today Out Of Sheer Spite

Today I asked a question on how viable mining is compared to lootrunning, and everyone around me including @Saya and @TrapinchO told me it's terrible. But lootrunning just somehow manages to hit that perfect point like a bullet hits your srotum where it's interactive enough to require thought but not interesting enough to be enjoyable. Whereas if I'm say mining or grinding zealots I can just watch Vsauce and not think about it. I plan on going on a spite fueled rage and getting to mining 110 this month.

Did not use any bombs and not on hunted and I plan on going this way, see you all in 1 month when I've recovered

Except lootrunning can give you much more money. You can get 1+Le in raw emeralds per lootrun and even more for ingredient/sold items.

You asked about making money, so what does this have to do with my answer? From an objective standpoint, given the same amount of time, lootrunning will always beat gathering as a moneymaking method. However, if you prefer gathering, then there's no problems with doing it for the sake of doing it?

I'm getting bad memories of people using personal anecdotes like they're truth in #questions...

I am quite sick of it too, but but it is undoublty much, much more time*expenses/money better than any other money-making methods

 

Really? How many chests are you getting per hour? I was getting like 80 per hour and only getting 32 eb from it even though I had 40 lq and 80 lb, while with mining you get 2 le every 15 mins or so

 

Sounds like you're not taking the good stuff (medeis, aquamarine, the other gamer uniques and rares)

 

heartily agree with this. don't take legends unless you know they're worth it. And learn which uniques and rares to take since some are easy to sell for 1+ le

 

I agree, lootrunning is terrible, atleast you feel like your doing something when you do professions

 

The only gamer things I get are possible cumulonimbus or brainwash possible hetusol and possible Virgo or Capricorn, and I haven’t gotten good luck on any of them

 

When I was doing mining at woodcutting from levels 80 to 90 I didn't really feel like doing anything. Just mindless click again and again and again...

Doing things out of spite is a very valid reason to do things, also professions do make pretty solid bank when you craft items and sell them to blacksmith at higher levels. Also I'm sure the price of materials will rise (especially low-level ones) when housing is added because it's been confirmed you need materials to buy blocks.

 

Sadly I am not capable of watching something during profs. I listened to some SCP vids though.
