Black should be able to pierce - it'll do quite a bit less damage, but imo not worth dealing with a secondary.

No. Black is really good, but there's nothing particular special about this interaction, and there are other daggers comparable to Black.

 

i figured black's safer just bc i didn't want to work with huge -thunder defense
as druser said it's not that important, it's not like black is a special counter or anything

 

wybel/cybel ele defs were nerfed, the only place where black has trouble piercing (from my experiences), is Dr. Legendary 3rd phase, which is absolute bullshit if you use a thunder/fire weapon

Restrictions: I am level 60, only 8k emeralds (still)
Preferences: relatively tanky, would prefer not crafted but don't care that much

Restrictions: No mythics. Have not completed Qira or hunters calling. Can most likely do hunters calling soon though.

Preferences: Preferably no crafted items.

skyfall and olux are other spear candidates but i thought this was best

shadow cover -> dark shroud if you either like it better or are missing ahc

Restrictions: level 94, no master hive items, no li, no mythics (unless it's absolutely necessary and is under 2 stx), no crafted unless its really good
Preferences: something that can survive the first four hive bosses, but something that can actually deal damage, I'd prefer a build with inferna flamewreath but if that weapon sucks then I'm fine with any other relik that's below lv 95
