Alright, hi all! I'm TinyGriffin, but you can just call me Griffin (and yes, it's spelled griffin, not gryphon or griffon or any other permutation of the word).

Thread title sounds real dramatic, but I'm just a returning member. Last I played was quite a few years ago, and I was only able to play through, like, half a fully leveled character before real life decided I wasn't allowed to have free time >:(

I'm so incredibly excited to be back and WOW GOSH there's a whole lot of new content I wasn't here for! Corkus, the Silent Expanse, the new Shaman class, gathering/crafting... I saw some updates videos and trailers popping up in my YouTube feed one day and decided - yup, I'm coming back. And so! I started fresh with a brand new character (Shaman class, had to see what's up), slapped Wynntils in my mods folder (seriously, a whole mod happened for Wynncraft while I was gone?), and prepared to pour an irresponsible number hours of my life on this incredible server.

So, all that's to say I'm glad to be back. So much has been added I might as well be a new player, which is why I'm posting here again. I hope to get further than I did before, maybe join a guild, maybe splurge on a pet, idk. But I'm mostly here to have fun!

PS: I've also since changed my Minecraft name from FeralPhoenix, on the very very small off-chance that anyone I played with before remembers (and will see this... so probably not, then)

 

Welcome back, adventurer! If you think there's a lot of new stuff now, just wait a month or two for 1.20 to drop.
If you ever need help with new features, feel free to ask or try using the returning player's guide.

By the way, are you interested in the lore or helping the wiki?

 

Ey, welcome back! Oh, I see ditsario already gave you the returning players guide.
Also just fyi in case you didn't know, profs are a massive grind and are in no way required. They really only become good at high levels. (You might know this already I'm just saying)
Have fun on the forums, and make sure that you don't end up as food for some predators much larger than a tiny griffin. (Uh me i guess but I'm nice, even though I once pushed someone into a cup of hot chocolate and killed them)

I am quite interested in game lore (I'm assuming that's what you mean by lore), since I never really cared when I first joined and just played 'cause my friend was playing it. I'm paying much more attention to the little bits of story in game in my new playthrough, though. As for helping the wiki, I feel like I'm not qualified to do so, I've not even fully leveled a character yet.

Thanks, glad to be back! And yeah, I did notice how grindy professions are, but I'm one for some griding sessions every now and then to switch my brain off.
I'm kind of scared to ask, but how did you kill someone with a cup of hot chocolate 0.0

That looks fun! I don't do many forum games but that one looks entertaining (especially if it results in things like 'a handsome man died in a vat of hot chocolate').

Lets just say I've been dealing with Thanksgiving cooking for the last 2 days and tutoring 3 people for about the last 3 days, 4 hours a day at least, still gotta welcome people to the community.

Ah, I see. I just checked out the link in your signature about helping the wiki, I see the appeal. Once I know a bit more about the game, I would definitely be interested in helping out! Also, I gotta say, you have a wonderful signature with a bunch of good info.
