1.20 Is Very Promising In My Eyes.

I've been a fan of what some may call "old wynn" since Gavel was released, and one of the things I always looked forward to was swarms, some of you might remember them, the hoard of monsters swarming a city and everyone would have to work together to get rid of them. In 1.20, they're introducing essentially a very much improved version of this with the idea of raids, and from what I've read, I couldn't be more excited to try them out myself with a group of friends.

Also, housing. I'm not entirely sure how it's going to work, but if what I'm thinking is correct, then it should be an incredibly fun experience. I hope you at least get to decorate your house with items or blocks that you could buy from a specific catalog, or maybe upgrade your houses space sort of like a tycoon in a sense, that would be a fun side-quest. (Some might hate my idea but I think it would be cool).

Anyway, I'm hyped for 1.20

The guild rework is what I’m looking forward to, it’ll discourage guild monopolies and encourage actual politics

 

I'm mainly looking forward to the new lore, quests, and most importantly, raids. I've wanted raids to come for some time, and it's exciting that we're finally getting them.

 

same i hope they patch up the copious amounts of conflicting lore there is, eg. how Bob was able to meet Mael Twain (he would have to be like 200 years old)

 

I really hope that lvl 100+ players can use all of the raids (the Olux Swamp one) because of the level restrictions

 

I'm pretty sure that that's the point. Something along the lines of mael staying alive until he could pass on his knowledge and skills. And Mael is capable of magic involving death, I'm sure he could have stayed alive until he felt ready to die.

So, the House of Twain fell into decline. Mael, unable to look after himself in his old age, spent the remainder of his time in a secret library learning arts to pass on to the one worthy.

It was a young Bob who found Mael, and through him, Bob learned spiritual knowledge and the history of Wynn.

 

But A Grave Mistake says he was still mortal. In fact, it was one of the main points in the quest

 

How long do Wynncraft humans even live or can possibly live

 

Well the other 3 fell not because of natural causes (Theorick to the corruption, Dwendle or Rickeo to Bak'al, the other Twain probably died to corruption as well but we don't actually know he could've died of old age too)

I think as long as Earth humans maybe a little longer. The only (non-minor) character that comes to mind that has a defined age is Bob, he was like 130 when he set off to "a land of darkness far away". Though as we know Bob isn't human

 

The guild rework sounds the most interesting, trading routes, cutting off borders, diplomacy, time for civ in minecraft lmao
