The Nothing is IMO the best non-mythic item

• Meteors averaging 10k damage, bypassing some Mythic wands when used alone
• Bypasses strong spell damage % negations such as Necrosis
• -2 mana cost on your best spell choice of attack (meteor), and is also the only wand that lowers 3rd spell cost
• +700/4s Life Steal comes in handy
• +3/4s Mana Steal comes in handy

I'd like to nominate Undying. I'd say it's at least as good as Apocalypse. I personally prefer it, as you need an above average apoc to even notice the difference in life steal. Not to mention that Undying gives not insignificant hpr and health, whereas apoc negates all regen.
Presidium also deserves a mention.

 

Undying definitely tops for weapons imo.

Actually, you're kinda right, Atlas and Tenuto are single-handedly carrying spellsteal

Otherwise spellsteal would become obsolete, with true hybrid builds becoming the norm if you wanted to go the mana steal route
