How To Get Rid Of Quest Items?

I used /questfixes and I have items from quests I completed, and can't throw them away. Does anyone know how to fix this?

 

I've heard that you can just create a new character, put all the quest items in their inventory, and then delete that character thus getting rid of the quest items. Someone may have to back up that claim before you do it.

 

Put the items into you inventory -> fill the rest of empty slots with emeralds -> replace the item with an emerald

There is this really fast way:
1. Get the quest items to your inventory
2. Find a loot chest
3. Put the item on the loot chest and as soon as you put it press "E" to close the chest.
4. Your item will be gone.
5. To take it back simply type /fixquests
