SPOILER Obelisk? More Like Obvious!

Firstly, my apologies for the title, I am prepared to give appropriate compensation in the form of my mahoosive brain blessing your souls with my theories. Please note that as you go down the page, these will only be getting crazier so prepare yourself.

(May not be entirely true, see comments below, but still a good read)

Please familiarise yourself with one of the Silent Expanse discovery, 'A monument of hope', by referring to these images. You may notice, towards the back, there are some corrupted spikes coming out and making the once light, colourful, happy wildlife, become a dull, grey, void-like landscape. To be specific, it reminds me of a couple of things: 'Death's Realm' from the 'Beyond the Grave' quest and 'The Dark Descent' realm, in which the player talks to a mysterious figure that could quite well be 'Death' or something of the sort. So after reviewing the evidence, it's fairly likely that light + corruption = death in terms of being empty, void of life, whether it's corrupted or natural; they cancel each other out like matter and anti-matter. It's going to be interesting to see what happens to the Obelisk in Lutho once the 1.20 Update drops which has a lot of focus on The Realm of Light and Oriphon and perhaps more lore into what happens when these two powerful forces mix.

Next up, you may notice a cute lil' castle entrances or gate of some sort on the left. Personally, this reminds me of the door from Fruma to Wynn. And what is quite intriguing is that it's just chilling next to these two forces that conflict one another. What else could conflict mean? War. W̶a̶i̶t̶ ̶n̶v̶m̶,̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶w̶a̶r̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶i̶d̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶F̶r̶u̶m̶a̶n̶ ̶w̶a̶l̶l̶s̶.̶.̶.̶ But once again, it will be intriguing to see what will change in the upcoming updates and may even foreshadow what's to come when the Fruma update drops.

Tl;dr Salted uses the Lutho obelisk as a sandbox to play with life and death.
