Loading Issues

I play on a pretty fast connection on a decent computer, but lately I have been having some issues with chunks not loading/rendering properly as well as general frame loss. Is there a way for me to cache the map or to better identify servers with better connections?

 

What version do you play on? 1.12.2 is recommended as it has the least bugs, and wynntils can help improve loading times a bit.

Ok, so whatever Wynntils is supposed to do, it doesn't speed up your experience. I think that the next thing I'm going to try is allocating more memory, though I don't think that will have much of an effect.

Allocating more memory didn't help either basic or Wynntils. Wynntils plays like a slideshow, but basic might have ever so slightly better performance. I'll check back later after some testing.
