New Town/city?

Noticed this on the 1.20 Wynncraft page underneath RoL info.

Why would there be a town in RoL or is this somewhere else?

 

It's a reworked Cinfras

 

Most likely Cinfras. If you look in the background to the left you can see the Cinfras countryside and Lake Gylia magical shiz.

It's almost unrecognizable from the original... which is good. Cinfras is kinda dated lol

Yeah, I was confused because it was right next to the RoL stuff.

There might be a new town (we saw this bridge-town thing in one of the monthly updates) but this is Cinfras as you already know.
We should speculate about the bridge-town. It is located exacly where the bridge connecting the Orc Road and the light forest is (at least many ppl thing it will be there)

I guess unpopular opinion, new Cinfras looks way worse than current Cinfras, this one looks like EO and I think that doesn't fit the city's style at all. I personally like the current style of Cinfras and if it really needed rework (which I don't feel like it did), I feel like it could have been done in a different manner closer to the original

 

I disagree. I like the new cinfras and the EO art style works quite nicely. It'll feel like an actual central city instead of a few copy and pasted feeling houses everywhere. I think it'll also be easier to find certain things.
It's not quite an unpopular opinion since I see a good few people complaining about it, but even if the new cinfras sucks there's more stuff to look forward to such as the siegfried quest, housing and raids.

 

If the roofs were lighter then I think it would look amazing. More fit of being a capital city/major city. Right now it feels like it could have been an earlier version of lutho.

 

I've said it before, but I don’t like the new Cinfras. Yes, it looks good, but it shouldn't be Cinfras. It should be some city in Dern, not the trading hub in the centre of magical Gavel located 200 blocks away from the Light Forest.

 

You're just saying that because the roofs are dark.

 

And the onion domes and the colour scheme and the towers with layers separated by many pillars and even the orange circle thingy and yes also the dark roof because what human architect would build dark roofs? Imagine how burning hot it would be in the summer, but how little of a problem it would be in the Land of Darkness

whats wrong with onion domes? theyre dope :( (Also ophiron's temple in the trailer has onion domes so it arguably ties in better to the light forest than current cinfras)

Also on another note, I like the new cinfras, it kinda has it's own identity and style now rather than being knock off detlas, even if it does borrow a little from the EO color pallet.

Theory: EO will be in new Cinfras

 

The new Cinfras kinda feels like a weird "happy"-ish EO, with the contrasting roofs (orange and red supports for black), which kinda goes against the theme of Cinfras, which seems to be "ancient capital city."
