The update looks great and I’m really excited. All is Amt to know now is when it’s coming out? People have speculated January but I’m hoping it’s sooner so I can have time to play it during the Christmas holidays.

Every region from lvl 40-80 has been revamped, so the CotL (map says it's lvl 85) and everything east of it gets done later

 

Is it just me or does the new style of Cinfras look eerily similar to the eldritch outlook?
Like its supposed to be in the opposite side of the world, and in the place of light instead of darkness, yet they are very similar imperial-like strucktures.

 

Likely the same builder. Most builders have pretty recognizable styles. For example, you can usually tell when it's Snerp doing the terraining for a location.

Misc observations:
- Looks like the three raids are Orphion, Colossus, and one other (I've heard people throw around Dullahan)
- There is a housing site in the void
- Hyhet pls don't use morph reeeee
- Tomes have been discussed elsewhere. Can't say much more without changelog details.

Also there's a new boss altar which no one is talking about (probably since we don't know anything about it)

 

I really hope this isn't actually Cinfras. The rest of the revamped areas look gorgeous, and this does too, but it's just straight up EO. Colour scheme of black with purple, red and orange, onion domes, a wide tower with layers separated by many pillars, it's even got the little orange circle thing.

Oh, you silly sausage! If you kept up with Salted's twitter you'd know that we're getting a Colossal Rat Pet IN ADDITION to the Aledar Cart pet.

It's the new language, "gavelic", and means 'save him'. The logo for the new update has it as well and spells out 'The realm of light' which links to the fox at the end being Oriphon and well, makes sense with all of the white. And so we can then use that knowledge to determine it says '-a-e him' which is presumably about saving Oriphon.

 

One thing I noticed at the end was the deer/fox/wolf-thing's roar - is it just edited in for the trailer, or are new sounds being added to the game?

 

Now this is a epic pogger moment.

Fingers crossed for housing storage so I can finally unload all of my hoarded ingredients. I don't think it would devalue banks too much due to banks being everywhere and your housing plot being tied to a specific town. I am however quite curious about materials for building and how many emeralds we have to accumulate before we can afford to actually build stuff proper homes. 750 Emeralds for housing seems like it would come with a catch and I'm going to assume it's pay-per-stack/block unless it's just NPCs that are costly. This is just speculation, obviously, so it could definitely be executed completely differently. On a side-note: with the pet improvements hopefully we are also finally able to discard accidentally redeemed duplicate pets now too. Overall I am extremely excited and look forward to enjoying all of the hard work always being put into these updates. Epic stuff.
