The update looks insane but to be fair, I shat a lot on Hypixel's skyblock gems and stuff and because of that, I think it is fair for me to have mixed feelings over the pets...

That being said, unlike that other server, Wynncraft seems to be actually delivering
So I think I'll let it pass, even if I'm against it

And also pet levelling cap at level 20 for ranks below champion? Why?

Didn't wynncraft promised no pay to win content long ago?

This could have been a great update but the champion rank just ruins it.

 

tbh i really dont know how to feel about the champion rank
the advantages you get seems relatively low except for a few, the switch and pet levelling cap are very unfair. And theres two possibilities when it comes to price:
1 - it will be even more than Hero, which could mean $100+
2 - it could be a monthly subscription thing, which i would much prefer.

but out of everything the champion rank gets that i think is unfair, is class backups.
Come on! We shouldnt need to pay to keep our save files safe. Some people have spent hundreds to thousands of hours on one class, level 100+ profs, as soon as they figured out how to make backups, they should have implemented it for everybody ASAP

If pets can fight, and they do so on their own, but only Champions can train them above lvl 20, isn't that just putting AFK farming behind a paywall? The Champion rank seems really pay-to-win

 

/Switch is unfair when people announces bombs and everyone else have to go through the lobby steps. Might as well not switch servers to get bombs at this point.

 

Will give the devs the benefit of the doubt, what is coming up feels so amazing that I couldn’t care less about new ranks that won’t affect me anyways, though I might consider getting the sweet ingame jukebox just to express thanks!

 

Instant server switch + bomb bell (which i'm guessing is being the first to receive notifications about bombs) + reserved server slots for champion ranks is pay to win as fuck

 

I personally think the class backups is the most unfair part, but I guess we just have to trust the devs on this one.
Hopefully this isn't the final version of the rank.

 

This breaks the "everyone has exactly the same playthourgh." Yes, we have more classes. Yes, we have jukebox. But the do not change the playthtough, just cosmetics....

 

They could have gone for some sort of battle pass monetisation model with exclusive cosmetics or legendary to fabled items, which rotates every 1-2 months.

But no! They decided to add a new rank which has been a very controversial thing. See what happened to that particular server that starts with H when they added MVP++
