Insane Lag In "the Eye" Bossfight

Hello,

so basically near the end of the fight with the eye, minecraft freezez (almost crashes) and I die. My Pc is good and can play most games on high graphic. Also I lowered particles already, in the options and in Wynncraft.
I cant finish the fight like that, somebody help pls.

 

You say "near the end", what stage is The Eye on when you lag? Like, has he ejected his pupil? Or earlier?

 

Yea I think so, I looked the phases up on the Wiki and I never saw the eye come out of its shell, so I believe its exactly when the phase triggers. that my game freezes.

 

What version of Minecraft are you using?

 

I use 1.16.1 and also im using Forge for World edit in my private worlds. But I never encountered a lag in wynncraft or on any server before.

 

I would try using normal 1.12.2 and doing the fight on a server that just barely restarted.

Well, when playing 1.12.2 I can't play at all lol. The game lags extremely hard that I get kicked from the server shortly after selecting a class.

 

I had this problem too until I installed optifine.
I'd suggest installing optifine for 1.12.2 and see if that works.

(Also, I'm pretty sure the source of the lag is when the Eye "vores" in the 3rd phase. To combat this when I had that problem I used really really tanky builds so that I wouldn't die even when I got vored, but switching to 1.12.2 with optifine should fix it)

 

another tip...
Turn your render distance to the lowest possible
try and keep the graphics to the bear minimum while still being able to see his attacks
Like @RenZenthio said, optifine on ANY version helps, i play on 1.15 and it works fine
if you get optifine, it gives you a new menu on customization, try and turn all of those as low as possible
make sure you ONLY have minecraft running
try and fully quit all other things you may have running
a simple history/cookies wipe on whatever browser you use can let your computer run better
if you have alot of things on your computer, it can lag it, so try and empty out whatever you have trashed and clean up your desktop and folders when you can.

The reason I specified (this is directed at OP, not at you Ankarin) 1.12.2 is because that is the version Wynncraft runs on and is the least buggy version. Also, when i was playing on 1.16.1 (or whatever I played on, I can't remember, but it was the newest version at the time) even with a good computer, the Eye "voring" still made me lag like crazy. Only when I switched to 1.12.2 did "voring" stop lagging my computer like crazy.

 

This should be fixed for our next major update (1.20)

 

I would recommend not using any (generally) not-approved mods as you can get banned for just having them. You can create separate folder for Wynn, containing usefull things like permanent resource pack (less loading time) 1.12.2, optifine etc.

 

Thank you for answering everyone, I beat the eye yesterday for the first time using the newest minecraft version without forge, and particles on 50. I still lagged when th pupil came out but atleast I can move.

 

yeah never use 1.16, im considering making a thread dedicated to all the terrible known bugs in those versions...

to name a few for you:
when you open an inventory on a horse it kicks you
ice snake spell is replaced with cactus
and suspicous crates in gavel are cobblestone walls

 

i knew about the horse thing but not the other 2, this is gonna take some research. i played in 1.14 for a bit since my optifine wouldnt download for 1.12 and my comp was iffy, and apparently multihit is different too, i got used to it just being black particles without the purple
