Potential Fix For Some Ahc Problems

Alright first forum post so here we go...

Basically, there seem to be a lot of different problems when it comes of "A Hunter's Calling," and (from what I've seen), some of them have to do with the tp checkpoints not working or the quest book not updating. This happened to my when I was working through the quest recently. I was in Rodoroc, and no matter how much I messed around in the slums, /class -ed, re-logged, whatever, I could not tp to the scenario.

So here's what I did, and this seemed to fix it: I did another quest. It was actually just a gathering mini-quest. I'm grinding profs on that class too so I just decided I wanted to go do that instead of wait around in Rodoroc for 1.20 to come out.

This was literally the only thing I did in between when it didn't work and when it did. Once I got back to Rodoroc to try again, the tp worked immediately. So, if you guys have a problem similar to mine, I recommend trying to do a mini-quest (gathering posts and slaying posts). Lmk if this works for you!

 

Did you have to do a level ~90 slaying/gathering post, or did you simply do any slaying/gathering post in general?

Don't remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure it was just a general gathering post since all my profs are around lvl. 68. There's a possibility it was a slaying post though, in which case I don't have any idea what level it might have been.

Yeah. I have no idea why it works, or even if it was this specifically that caused AHC to start working for me, but I'm pretty sure. In between when it wasn't working and when it was, I ran a few dungeons and started a new class. I don't think the dungeons fixed it, since I still had problems even after running them (before doing the mini-quest). If I had to guess, it might be that starting another quest in the quest book "reboots" whatever AHC uses to track your progress.

Second of all if this is reliable enough then it should probably be posted somewhere where it will be more accessible, maybe in the tips section on the wiki

 

Currently it worked only once, so there isn't much proof that it works. But if it helps 5-10+ people then it should be added
