I really didn't have a problem with the grind starting out. I love the quests but one thing is I did a fair amount of poking around the website before I joined so maybe I was more interested by the map and stuff idk. I think the website/wiki are really good ways to get people interested though.

The "grind" we mean are professions, commonly misleading newbies into thinking that they are necessary part of the game

I think the problem is like dxp/mob totems make early game grinding op af (Grinding in endgame vs Questing, questing wins, but in early game to a lesser extent), like grinding a spot like Llevi spiders can make you level in like 10 mins (Assuming no xp bonus, mob totems, or any dxp and stuff). While quests usually at the lvl take longer then 10m and won't make you advance a lvl. May be exaggerating the 10 mins like I usually do lol. So I guess early game is pretty easy (Only just taking it from what most ppl say, but honestly end game you have a much better build, doing like really good damage while having good survivability because defense/agi scaling and spell upgrades, but honestly it's up on classes, its the worst on classes like mage).

TLDR: Wynn is kinda easy unless you're early game mage, and grinding is kinda faster then questing in early game which is why people might find wynn boring bc early game they feel forced to grind. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong though and it's another reason.

Also about not being able to not know what to do, it won't really matter unless you just look back and just laugh about doing dumb stuff early game like I did. You could just make friends with experienced players in the server i guess. Also I feel like ppl say early game is harder bc they're not introduced to stuff like mega hard bosses and stuff. I think you could just tell your friends if they quit to just do their quests if it's their 1st character. But also there's ppl who hate stuff like puzzles and don't really gain any fun out of it, so your friends may be like that, Idk if wynn would be for them.
