Warrior/Knight Probably The Best Collapse Builds And My Arguments For Collapse Being A Pretty Good Mythic

Okay so I'm seeing a lot of debate right now about le mythic spear Collapse, especially regarding the fact that it seems rather underwhelming for a mythic weapon

So I am here to present my arguments for the fact that it's not as underwhelming as it seems

But yes, since Ex Nihilo will become nerfed after the update, here's some builds that will work post patch

*This build has higher melee dmg than the others, if you want to use melee + exploding to take care of stray mobs

And all of the above builds have roughly 10k hp and around 60-70def 45-55agi, meaning it has pretty good survivability as well. So pretty much, Collapse has slightly less dmg compared to tcrack but has more sustain/survivability, and deals rainbow damage. As for its uniqueness, well I can't really say much because it's not like it has a major ID, probably the only argument I can make here is that HIVE RAINBOW is possible due to its low sp reqs and the fact that it gives +50strength, allowing it to have decent dmg whilst patching sp with Blue Mask.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just me that started the ruckus of trying to find the best Collapse build and we did happen to find a few which look pretty similar to what you have but no worries, quite a few builds were looked at. I decided to replace the current Ex Nihilo with the post nerf Ex Nihilo and it doesn't seem like much of a nerf at all except I can use Undying anymore, lol.

You could replace Moon Pool Circlet with Diamond Hydro Ring to get extra skill points and a squeak bit more damage.

6mana uppercancels is rather annoying to use so the 1st build is eh

2nd and 3rd build are quite nice but dia fusion neck and then double dia hydro rings would work better

4th build's mana sustain is way too low

Also it's just a personal preference but I'd rather have 4mr 11ms than 3mr 12ms because mr is better suited for warrior and having over 10ms feels wasteful, but that's just a personal preference ig.

EDIT: None of those builds using post patch Ex Nihilo will actually work, you need 60def to keep soulflare equipped, so it's just Wynndata doing the minus sp calculation error, none of those post patch Ex Nihilo builds are viable.

 

Ah, ok, 2 weeks of work to only find that it won't work next update, lol. Guess I'll have to use stuff from after the next update...

 

Just don't use Ex Nihilo, you probably won't be able to get enough sp whilst maintaining mana sustain and survivability

 

I might try to make a build using Capricorn instead.

Also has the benefit of a 60 def and a 75 agi to boot but you may need to use something like Undying for health sustain. If you're wondering, I also tried Phoenix Prince's Crown, Aquamarine, Sano's Care, and Morph Stardust and they don't give enough skill points to have an uppercancel lower than 6.

 

Y'all need to get out of the bad habit of listing boosted numbers. Same with shaman's aura, just don't list boosted numbers.
It's both misleading and pointless, what are we going to do next, list boosted spins?

I guess it's a habit that's being spread by certain people, but you know better than to follow it. Don't even get me started on logging in for your builds and the issues of build crediting

 

Yeah I know but these days see more often than not I see people in #class_builds listing numbers without marking them as boosted and it catches me off guard a lot. At least I always make sure to list my numbers as "boosted" if I've done so but you have a very fair point about "boosted spin dmg" lol
