Hunted Mode Mythic Drop

I've heard that in hunted mode it is impossible to drop mythics upon death. Is this true?

Also, when grinding profession xp, do you guys use hunted mode?
What about combat xp?

 

Mythics do not drop if you die in hunted mode and yes most proffers use hunted mode because of the free +50% gathering xp bonus.
Hunted mode is sometimes used in bulb parties for the combat xp bonus.
