Video Clowning On The Durum Protector(bovine Barn Challenge Run)

Atlas Inc. was talking about a challenge run of Bovine Barn as something to do while bored- at Lv 20 as Mage, so you had no offensive spell access. I took it one step further and used only normal gear, though I did use an Air Powder I on the stick.

To detail my strategy a bit, I strafed where I did to avoid getting the attention of more than two of the Scarecrows at a time. Dealing with the Protector is only difficult when you're getting peppered with projectiles, so minimizing that was extremely important to be able to whittle away at him safely. With just the one, there's a relatively safe zone that I could just Heal through- with two, it becomes impossible to deal with anything, so I really started at a disadvantage- if you're fast with your movements you can get the attention of just one Scarecrow at the beginning, which is a boon.

And full disclosure, this was absolutely not my first run. There were probably close to a dozen attempts total.

 

And I thought a no pot iron ironman was hard, what a gamer!!

 

I hope the entire challenge was just one big excuse to use that pun
