SPOILER Is Ohms And Gale Easter Egg Finally Completed?

I was wondering, all these years while being inactive, did Selvut actually manage to complete the easter egg?
Like, i did a video 4 years ago about it , as a part I and idk if its still even there.
If anything did update , leave a comment please. Im quiet interested in finishing the video.

Not sure if anybody has ever tried throwing an Ohms' wish to the gale grave and I'm tempted to try

Oh yeah. I should probably say this. There is a wand called Ohms' wish that matches the one you saw inside that room. Its description tells you to leave it at the gale grave. Maybe somebody has tried this in the past. I'm actually going to try it right now. Will reply with the results.

 

I tried a few years ago, but it didn’t do anything. Unless it’s been changed in the last few updates, I don’t think the hopper does anything yet besides eating our items

 

Yeah I just tried and absolutely nothing happened. Maybe you need a perfect Ohms' wish?

Or maybe there's something inside Ohms' lab that can be used. I'll go to the lab now and investigate it.

Update: Icy iron golems no longer seem to drop the key. Makes sense since they were updated to be grind mobs. Will look for the lab anyway.

Major update: Ohms' lab doesn't exist anymore. I found the place with the golems and there is literally nothing there. The wall is sealed.

Actually, I noticed that in the video the wall closes behind him. There's a way in. Icebreaker, how exactly did you enter the lab in the video?

 

I can confirm the lab is still behind the wall. One of the golems spawned in it and I could tell there was a void behind the wall. I just need to open the wall.

My guess is that it's just a scrapped Easter Egg that they didn't get around to finishing.

 

Selvut made a whole thread about it back in like 2016. Pretty sure it was like ??? but not as major.

 

I feel old now...

crunkle accidentally unplugged the hopper instead of the vacuum, sorry guys :(

 

As I recall, Selvut has confirmed that he did not intend for you to have to throw a valuable item into the hopper to open it. I'm pretty sure Ohms' Wish was explicitly mentioned as an item you would not have to throw in, but I'm unwilling to dig through the 4 year old threads that would say as much. I do really hope that it's finished someday though, since it was one of the coolest Easter eggs/ secret discoveries that's been (almost) added.
