Can't Hear Anything Pls Help

So I my friend and I recently started up wynncraft and I've been having a pretty good time. My friend however loses all minecraft sounds when he downloads the wynncraft texture pack. Even after leaving the server and going to a different server, he still has no sound. He has tried F3+T, reinstalling minecraft, reinstalling audio drivers, checking all audio settings to make sure that everything was on, restarting computer, testing my account on his computer, and many different versions in minecraft. I really don't know what is wrong or how to help him fix it.

 

This is just a guess but was your friend perhaps switching out their headphones or speakers for a different listening device as that usually cuts out my Minecraft sounds in general. The only flaw I would see is restarting Minecraft fixes it. To me, it might be an issue related with whatever is used for sound but that's my guess as something like that has never happened to me.

 

I don't think so, as f3+T would fix that and apparently that doesn't work either, which makes not a lot of sense
