    I've just started playing on this server, and it has been an incredible experience. But I've been wondering what the "Wynn" part of Wynncraft means.

    Wynncraft was originally called 'Project W', back in its earliest development phase. Transliteration of the letter W is the letter Wynn (Ƿ) in Old English, and I'm guessing they thought it sounded cool so they named it Wynncraft and Wynncraft was born hooray.

    Additionally, 'Gavel' means greed, 'Dern' means dark and 'Fruma' means origin, all in Old English.
