Rework - Choose A City.

If one city could immediately get a rework, which city would you choose and why?

 

plz literally any city but Detlas they've already massacred my boy enough

 

Is this a visual rework or a content rework? For visual I would vote Cinfras and Thanos. For content Selchar and Lexdale.

But seriously why do people want every town to be as practical and boring to navigate as possible, like if a place isn't a flat grid with labels everywhere then its bad, or if you have to actually travel around in the town a bit to do everything you want to do that's bad?

Bruh just appreciate the scale and detail of the map for a sec

 

Selchar feels a little small for its importance. I think it could do with a good rework.

 

Cinfras definitely needs a complete rework. It is just bad in terms of architecture, color, etc (slab spam :blobsweat:). The design/layout of the city is an interesting concept, but needs some work. The airbase, however, is opposite of "interesting". It is such a pain to navigate the area and the layout is pretty awful. Alot of things in Cinfras really need a rework and I am sure many would agree on that.

I would also say Thanos needs one as well. Not very pleasing to the human eye and really could use a good rework (build-wise anyway).

Honestly, if Thanos gets "reworked" to now include a scroll merchant, I count that as a success. (making things less spread out and removing the fire on the ground would be nice too)

 

Content-wise or appearance-wise? Contest-wise, I want more Corkus quests so obviously Corkus, but appearance/layout . . . perhaps Nesaak or Cinfras. Cinfras's builds are kind of meh (better than anything that I could build, but there's just nothing really unique about them, nothing that sets them apart from all of the other cities and houses in Wynn and Gavel) and I don't really like Nesaak's layout.

 

Lexdale might not need a rework until the Eye of the Storm quest changes, as the town's purpose is to highlight the suffering of its people under the cultists

The levtus airbase is probably the most unique areas of all, because its completely vertical. There are so many different ways to make it to the top, and so much detail on every platform it makes it feel real. If you describe being different as being awful, does that mean you just want the airbase to be flat and linear, have a couple buildings very close for convenience and have no detail anywhere to make it very easy and boring to navigate, so you take the exact same route everytime and never even have to look at your surroundings or think about where you are?

I like it too but its a pain to go trough every time you travel from wynn to gavel. It also needs to be reworked a bit (visually)
