Tanks. we love em, we hate em. But regardless of what you're doing, consider the tank that may or may not be there that is insuring the survival in all you spellspam glasscannons. And those of you that live the lifestyle of having nearly 0 dps, this is the thread for you :)

Don’t know if this qualifies as a tank, but it’s perfectly capable of soloing LI and the Eye without going below 10k health, no pots.

And has great team support with Greed.

Also also, here's a link to a thread I made about Boreal builds that can still do damage. Might want to take a look, but they may not be as tanky as you want them to be.

And Here's a few WFA warrior builds I made that deal ok damage (only 10k uppers), but are built to last.

Updated once again, it was late when I did this so let me know if I made any more mistakes, and Qzphs has sent me on a mission to make uncrediting people a meme now xD

Both of these would be quite tanky, if elemental defenses mattered in the current meta and sandbox, but as of right now elemental defenses are basically a cherry on top of defense and hpr tank builds, instead of being the main tanking feature of a build. On both of these, just wait for 1.20, because I have confidence elemental defenses will get buffed then

 

This is why credit for builds isn't a good thing, it just leads to "ownership" issues when basically every build lacks enough innovation to be credited to a person. Buildmaking is too solved for people to give/ask for credit.

It may sound rude, but that's also why the unspoken rule of good builders is to stay logged out of wynndata
(to not have their name assigned with a build)

 

As right as you are, my 6 braincell having ass is willing to update it with three hours of sleep because i feel its right xD

 

that makes sense in general but it's a bit weird to enforce for this kind of thread imo
i don't insist on being credited, but it just irks me a little when a build i contribute gets put up in someone else's name

 

Yeah that's why I'm saying that crediting comes with way too many issues

I don’t see the problem, look at my stats, I have soloed the Eye and Li so many times with my archer and assassin.



(Also, as far as serious crediting goes I just see it as being polite, even if it is a bit finicky)

 

This is my Guardian build to carry other players, because of 4x endurance and courage it gets pretty good damage, too.

Uses for this build:
- Solo all endgame content while not actually paying attention to the game but chatting with your guild members.
- Carry other players through all endgame content (Strobelight + Guardian hehe).
- Facetank Absolution in duels.
