With the last two updates, most guides to getting emeralds are obsolete, or no longer as good as they formerly were. So, after about a month of work, I was able to compile a list of the better ways to get emeralds.

    - Quests : One of the less grindy methods of getting emeralds, since you're usually getting a good heap or Wynnic Lore. The higher level the quest is, the (usually) more emeralds you get. However, you have to grind a lot for levels.

    - Seavale Reefs : A grindy method of getting emeralds, but each hour, you get at least 1 LE. Best to do it when you have the Breathing Helmet II, since you don't have to go to the surface for air that often. 1.13 lets you to swim, but each time you run out of air, you spend much more time on the surface.

    - Crafting : Decently grindy, but gets you about 10-20 EB for a couple of minutes. However, to craft, you need to spend about half an hour gathering ingredients, which takes a hell lot of time, and anything that needs string or grain is going to be harder, since those are a tad more spread out.

    - Loot Running : One of the best methods of getting shiny green rocks, and you get potions and mythics this way as well, which you can sell for even more emeralds. Does require loot bonus, and you have to pick and choose, but is the most rewarding. However, the decent ones usually require at least level 60, and for the best, probably 80.

    - Trade Market : By attacking some high level mobs, you can get unidentified armour and weapons, which you can identify, sell, and repeat. However, it takes time, and you might die a few times. I recommend Archer for this, since you can travel across parts of the world, mainly the mountains,o with Escape and avoid mobs, until you get to Sky Islands or Silent Expanse, kill a few mobs, retreat, and repeat. You can also buy things and sell them at a higher price, but you'll need at least 1-3 LE, depending on what you're buying.

    - Selling Scrap, Ingredients, etc. : Scrap can be created by buying a Chipped Leather Helmet for 4 Emeralds from the Armour Merchant in Ragni, then scrapping it, and selling it for 10-15 Emeralds. The going price of Level 1-10 Ingredients (Wood, Paper, Oil, etc.) is 4-10 Emeralds, and for Dernic Ingredients, I'd estimate about 5-20 EB (I can't say for sure, since getting them is pretty damn hard). You can usually get a few LE this way, but it's extremely grindy and boring, with a lot of waiting involved.

So that's a wrap! Feel free to reply if I missed anything!

The sad reality is that selling scrap is just a better seavale at the moment

Also your "trade market" section is confusing, you're encouraging mob grinding for a worse version of lootrunning.

I disagree - Seavale is better than scrap if you know where one of the secret locations. Hehe...

But we're spending the money on better armor and weapons and consumables so that we can more efficiently kill mobs, and in turn, defend the province from the forces of darkness and corruption. So tEcHnIcAlLy

Slight Elaborations from my experience coming back and starting pretty much fresh in the last two months.

If you have a rank/dxp, know people who do, or are adept enough at getting into parties, or have extreme patience grinding mobs if you are free-to-play: it may be worthwhile to run through characters from 1 to 102 and do the quests to get the LE. I did this for all five classes and it's an ok way of getting emeralds, and you also get the benefit of having high level classes to join guilds or war. Unfortunately, if you don't delete your classes and decided to keep one of each class you only have 1 spare class to play through for future updates (I quite like playing through the 1-102 content at a casual pace) but it takes 44 days to delete a class and start again. If you decide to keep 5 classes you essentially will have a 44 day wait period before starting a new class. Having a rank makes this way easier for extra class slots. I personally did this for the classes, but I made enough LE to unlock most of my bank pages.

A better version of this is to powerlevel from 1 to around 75 in about 1-2 days of playing using the aforementioned methods. Then do the high level LE quests like ToA, Wynn EX, Eye of the storm, Cassiops, Dodegar's ultimate weapon, etc. I believe you get around 24 LE each time you do this and have a much shorter class deletion time. Utilizing easy grind spots and good grinding classes (Mage/Shaman) is almost necessary to make this method work. Like before, you will want to cycle a couple of class slots at a time. It is helpful to start collecting equipment on other classes to have a seamless equipment curve as you level, and it is helpful to have a high level class to grind out items that you may need, such as tokens for ToA or the dozen+ items needed for ToL.

My personal recommended grind spots: (More on https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Grind_Mobs#Mount_Wynn_ and avoid most ranged grind mobs, harder to kite and may kill mobs)
*I usually grind the level range to get the most out of it, then do quests in between grind spots.
    Emerald trail zombies (1-7ish)
Dungeons like Decrepit Sewers, Infested Pit, Lost Sanc that are easy to solo with healing.
Spiders and mites on the Nessak side of Mt Wynn (20-27ish)
Blister mobs in the dessert at one of the corners of the desert (32-38ish)
    Llevigar spiders spot (39-45ish)
Herb Cave (52-65+, sometimes to 71 with a party) essential, because you will hit a slump in the 55 to 75 range where progression will be very slow from just quests.
Corrupter Decrepit Sewers, only with a dungeon bomb (65ish-70ish), I've heard it's good but I never tried leveling in it myself.
Cinfras Bandits, only when dxp (70-76ish) the mages are ranged but not too bad, not super good as a grind spot.
Corrupted Lost Sanctuary, only with a dungeon bomb (74-83ish). I ran these as much as possible to get as close to CUR range as possible and I was usually able to get it done in 5ish minutes solo. Excellent way to level because the fights aren't tricky as long as you can heal.
Corrupted Undergrowth Ruins (89+), One of the most popular ways to grind exp to get your high level quests (and LE).

Professions are somewhat lucrative just by crafting and vendoring/scrapping the stuff if you manage to get into a profession party for prof speed bombs. Leveling a profession makes you more valuable in a guild, as you are another person that can craft for guildmates who don't want to spend the time to level professions. You can make decent money by crafting in demand and powerful crafted items, but you may need ot purchase certain ingredients or grind for them, which slows your income rate. Professions are incredibly tedious for those without a steel will to see it to completion.

Efficient mythic lootrunning apparently needs decent LQ and LB to make it reliable enough to be efficient. However, the gear for this must (at least for LQ) be crafted and requires a high level to equip. Because of the demand and the rarity of the ingredients, these pieces are often not super cheap and is an initial cost to overcome to start profiting from mythic hunting (BTW not all mythics are worth a lot of money and theres a decent chance that a single mythic found may not cover the expense for a good lootrunning set). This method becomes much more profitable with the more time you spend compared to most methods i've seen from a free-to-play/solo standpoint.
Unfortunately, there are many legendaries and fableds at high level are essentially worthless for the trade market (unless god rolls, which is rare) because of the high volume coming in from mythic lootrunners throwing them onto the trade market for super slim profits to get rid of them. Legendaries and fableds are costly to identify, and the demand for non-godly rolls is extremely low.

Or you could just pray to RNGesus, but I can't guarantee the effectiveness of this emerald making method.

Also don't breed horses for profit, I will say that it's not worth taking the chance because its a money sink.

Also shoutout to those who threw all of the bombs that I have participated in, I really appreciate it <3.
Edit: And the staff for a great server <3.
