Spoiler: What Happened to the Great Lore Index?

It's almost certainly cancelled. I know this is likely to disappoint a good many of you (it disappoints me as well), but the truth was, that even with just one index topic, I didn't enjoy writing it. I feel like that defeats the purpose of what I do, so it won't be continuing, at least not until I can look forward to writing another one of those things, which is probably going to be never.

Sorry about that, but frankly I don't want to do something that I'm not enjoying. There's good news ahead though!

BIG IMPORTANT NOTICE: This idea is very much in the works, and all this info is subject to change.

Since I returned from my absence after the Great Lore Hunt, I think that (not trying to be cocky, sorry if it comes across like that) I have become somewhat the most senior and active theorist on the forums. Don't get me wrong, there are theorists who are just as good if not better than me who are active (@ParkourTNT , @TrapinchO ), but I'm probably the only one who JUST does lore, and not really anything else. So, I had an idea. A kinda crazy idea.

A WynnTheory youtube channel. Stop hyperventilating, it's good news.

What do I mean? What I'm talking about is the first attempt at a dedicated channel for Wynncraft Lore, run by yours truly. A place for theories, guest speakers sharing their own theories, and so much more!

This would take a TON of work from me, and it would probably mean that my forum activity would go down (I would still be here though), but I really think this is the future.

Think about it. So much of our culture today is dominated by YouTube, wouldn't it be something special if the lore community could make something out of it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not aiming for a certain amount of subs or anything, I just think it would be cool if there could be a place where i and others could present theories. Tell me what you think below.

This sounds like something I'll enjoy! Even though I'm not really into and Wynncraft lore myself, I think this will be very interesting to me.
I look forward to watching some of these videos if possible.

Maybe make a discord server as well, a lot of the wynn subcommunities have at least one 'main' discord for that thing

 

I would also be interested in helping to make videos, whether that be editing, recording or writing. This sounds like an exciting project!
