Inconsistency In Lore?

So in 854 AP Bob was born and in bobs reincarnation it says he disappeared when he was 72 so 926 AP but in chapter 11 in ragnis secret library chaper XI it says he disappeared when in 984 AP im confused.

 

Where exactly does it say that he dissapeared at the age of 72? Bob has been missing for 16 years, so 984AP is the correct time.

 

On the wiki, in the bobs reincarnation quest it has this listed, "At the age of 72, he set off towards the jungles near Troms, having heard of a beast promoting the corruptive forces within the province. This is presumed to be the corruptor of worlds. However, it is heavily implied that he lost the battle and was terminally injured afterwards. With that in mind, he then split his power into three pieces and planted them in his loyal animals. These loyal animals, who each received part of Bob's power, then were scattered to hidden places within the province's great ocean. Bob wanted to see who could find all three of pieces of his power and become his successor, so he hid himself within a cave nearby to Nesaak. He is presumed to have died at this point, but it is left ambiguous as to the cause. The cave near Nesaak is currently known as Bob's Tomb, which usually requires 3 people to gain access (two to push a button, one to use a pressure plate" It doesnt say directly at 72 but i doubt he was in the jungle for decades. wiki could be wrong but he would of went missing at the age of 130 so if the wiki and quest is right then he would of went missing 48 years prior

 

Yeah, but that's the wiki. Anyone can write stuff there. I want to know where the original information is from. Also, it wasn't CoW he went to seal

it was most likely the Dern Beast that he sealed with his own lifeforce

CoW was sealed by the Twains, as confirmed in AHC.

 

Ok thanks for clearing that up, i dont know why someone would right fake stuff on the wiki thats just weird.

 

it's more likely they didn't know or it's older game info that never got updated

 

Bob's lore is generally full of inconsistencies that piled up along the years, they didn't really bother to overhaul the lore so some bits of lore are incredibly old, like from 2013-2014. A bigger inconsistency in my opinion is the fact that Bob was apparently trained by Mael Twain who would be like, 200 by the time Bob was even born. (unless he was trained by his ghost, which is possible)
