Urelix said that they have no memories.
Yeah, killing people--or rather, being stuck in an iron body while watching said body kill people--is probably . . . not good for you mentally.
They might. Perhaps something went wrong with the creation of that specific iron golem. I imagine the mobs attacking them would feel a lot more pain punching iron than the pain the iron golem feels. Let's say that iron golems feel pain. There are still benefits to signing a contract to become an iron golem while being drafted instead of just staying in your own body. You won't need training, and it's unlikely that you'll be killed or suffer permanent physical injuries.

I f Urelix knew about Corkian mechs there isnt much of a reason to not use them, he could make it so they can't rebel, just make them follow orders like Corkian city guards.

The whole reason why the robots rebelled against the Corkians is that they were all controlled by a supercomputer that thought the Corkians were a threat to the Avos. So I guess you can’t have a robot army without it controlled by a supercomputer? If so, then there would be the risk of the robots rebelling.

In AHC, you have to do stuff to the guards to make them obey the supercomputer, under normal conditions it obeys Corkians, so no, you don't.
