Stuck At The Order Of The Grook Quest.

I can't seem to hit any of the meteors and it has been an hour now(literally) is there something I'm missing?

When I actually hit them and they go in the opposite direction it still deems the lesson as failed.

Update: I managed to leave the lesson by using /kill. Is the quest impossible?

 

Fire is the most buggy of all the element classes and is notoriously difficult don't have a stable internet connection. Maybe try doing a different element? Or use f3+B to turn on hitboxes, that might help you hit them a bit better.

 

Ate you playing on 1.12.2, the recomenned version?
