Whats The Point Of Leveling Up Any Other Skill Except For Combat?

I know that this is probably one of the most asked questions ever but I honestly dont know. I know it has stuff to do with crafting so craft weapons and armor but is crafted armor even good? Is it better than armor found in loot chests or from merchants in dungeons? Thx!

 

crafted gear can generally outclass most other things in the game if made correctly, including some mythics (but not all of them)

however, it is limited by the fact that it has durability

also, there are a couple ids that are limited to crafted (currently only loot quality, though i believe the gathering ids will also be crafted-locked)

Also do gathering professions help ur stats or something

 

gathering professions count for total level, and allow you to get materials to level crafting professions

i use large lapis accessories in some builds, and use loot quality when lootrunning.

 

unless you're going for craftsman challenge then there isn't really a point in doing professions before you reach lvl ~100 and pretty much finish the game.

 

imo looking at how large the grind is, the negatives of profs just outshadow the benefits

the grind turns insane after level 70ish
