How Does Concentration Work

So I am wondering how does concentration work (I'm asking this as I'm about to get some new armor with the special in 2-3 levels)? Is it basically just for every spell used (That eats up mana) gives you a damage booster for a second, which it probably is, but if so, can it stack if you use multiple spells in a second? Or is it the first spell you use in a certain second gives a damage booster, and other spells can't effect it?

 

If I understand it correctly it procs on mana spent, so I think any amount of spells will proc it, it’s not dependent of how many are cast a second.

Point being, I think it stacks. But I’m no expert.

What does procs mean, and if it stacks, does that mean i can spell spam to hit 20 mana in a second to deal 3.6x more damage?

And yes, I think so. Keep in mind it's water damage, not just a flat damage increase.

 

Keep in mind that the water damage increase is treated additionally to the water damage% from your gear, so you wouldn’t get a 3.6 multiplier on your damage, but rather a addition of 3.6x of your weapon base damage if it’s purely water damage

 

I have a water dmg only Relik so yeah I would be getting a 3.6x multiplier, plus I'm upgrading my concentration gear soon so maybe 5.4x more dmg

 

I mean because you have water damage %on your gear that already increased damage, so for example,
You have 120% water damage which increased your damage by 200 and concentration gives you 360% so it would further boost your damage by 600, so a total of 800 increased damage from your weapon as opposed to a flat multiplication on your damage

 

I have an 80% water dmg boost on my gear, and if concentration gives a 360% attack boost, I basically have 440% total water dmg for my Relik, but thanks for helping.
