Nice pure build, mine reaches 15k meteor damage. Try focusing on raw spell damage with a virtuoso and a few diamond hydro accessories for mana regen. Also try using a bonder as a swap out for pure as bonder has quite a large mana regen bonus.

 

you... you should not be focusing pure damage on pure (get the pun haha)

you should aim for 1 mana, or sometimes 2 mana if you have even higher mana regen, meteors dealing 9-11k averages (as a general range, can go lower or higher ofc)


if you build pure to maximize damage, then it will likely feel like a subpar weapon to you, due to the fact that you can't make full use out of its major id


however, when you minimize the meteor cost, you can effectively get triple meteor dps with decent sustain

And yes, I agree that 16 mr is a bit overkill, but this was the best way I could reduce that ( +500 damage for 2 mr; it's possible to swap the mega fern and bottled fairy on the chestplate for another +100 damage and -1 mr, but I didn't think it was worth it; regardless, both options cut a bit more than I would like into durability).

 

No. Bonder swapout is fine in theory, but pure is so dependent on constantly cycling that using it as a swapout is a waste of time.

Diahydro is only worth it for mr as necklace, since rings are 1mr and ms is irrelevant. Rawspell is obvious, but post-nerf virt is bad for pure since it's 1mr now. Maybe in niche double supp builds.

15k meteors without crafteds usually means your build is terrible (lack of mana/spellcosts)

yeah, pure probably isn't feeling great to use because this build doesn't enable it to its fullest potential. having 4/4 mr is really low on any spell spam build, let alone pure. i'd also suggest replacing time rift, because time rift can't really make use of entropy, and % spell doesn't add much to pure.

 

Thanks I am not sure what to replace Time Rift with however.

for pure you should primarily focus on getting low meteor costs and mana regen, focus on damage AFTER these two criteria

4 mana meteors with 7 regen is not enough to sustain entropy abuse

i might suggest demon tide instead of crossing, and probably attempt to fit in a dragon's eye bracelet
