Future Site Of Mortal Mountain?

I was looking for a slaying post when I accidentally entered that area behind kandon beda with the giant statue. The bottom of it looks like a dungeon. Is this mortal mountain?

 

No, I know where you're thinking of, but iirc Mortal Mountain was going to be through the giant door opposite the path up to the camp wizard from Marauder's Dues.

That’s the giant colossus. We don’t know much about it yet besides its discovery info and what the guy in Kandon Beda says. We might see a use of it in the future for a quest or a dungeon in the future like the door of time, but it is not Mortal Mountain.

 

Would make more sense to be mortal mountain seeing as it has been featured in the trailer and looks amazing

 

I think it'd be out of place for the Colossus in Kandon-Beda to house the Mortal Mountain dungeon. It's supposed to be deeper within the Canyon of the Lost. Also, I'm pretty sure the suggested level for the dungeon was level 81, which doesn't fit an area that you're supposed to explore at level 95. I do think the Colossus should have its own dungeon or quest though.

Scrapped Dungeon? Are there any more ? Assuming they were replaced with the corrupted dungeons ?

 

There were originally 4 mini dungeons in the canyon of the lost, and they were removed in favor of the Mortal Mountain. It was scrapped later down the line however they may revive the project for a later update.

 

I also tried entering that thing and nothing happened so I'll just say it's going to be a dungeon in the future

 

Mortal mountain, Dullahan's castle and orphion's tomb were all scrapped dungeons, if I remember correctly.

 

And Grootslang
