So I just attempted Reincarnation for the first time after just unlocking it at lv74. My brother, who was playing his lv105 assassin, tagged along because he needed to do the quest too, and was going to let me into the tomb because he was already inside. Needless to say... I got eviscerated. While he killed Bob in about 3 hits, I died in about 10 seconds to the sword minions and foolishly running into an arrow storm. So what could I do to beat Bob easier? I already switched up my bow from maelstrom to clearwater to do some neutral damage instead of all elemental. My build is primarily intelligence and agility based, with dexterity and strength pretty even and defense being my lowest (at 3 points that I get from my chestplate). Should I re-jig my skillpoints? Improve my armor and weapons? Add some powders? Get a larger party? Or just wait until lv90? Your help would be very appreciated!

(Here's the link to my current build btw, excluding accurate skillpoints because I'm not quite sure how to change that: https://wynndata.tk/s/5dlvkx)

Of course you would destroy him at later levels or with help but that kills the point of the battle and you wouldn't really benefit from it at level 90+

Your build focuses a lot on earth/thunder damage when you deal water damage, also your mana sustain is really small. Here's an alternate build:

https://wynndata.tk/s/1vlazn WFA tank thing with good sustain but low-ish damage, can add water powders for Curse. This is similiar to what I used on Mage to beat him. NOTE: Geyser's massive -thunder damage can be problematic against the water sword that heals Bob, you can switch the legs to Crystal if you want to.

It's not awesome and I'm sure someone experienced can give you a better one, but it should get the job done.

It helps bringing along higher level people of every class. I was able to receive help from a level 100+ assassin archer and mage. Both the archer and assassin would do damage to bob in the first couple of mages, and to avoid death I would be healed by the mage on the side. During his final phase I would receive buffs from all players and do 33% of the damage, allowing me to stay safe but also collect bobs seal of approval.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, my current build is pretty crappy, normally I just take stuff that gives me health and sounds cool, builds are really new to me haha. This build looks great! Just what I'm looking for, just swapping geyser for crystal like you said. Will take some looting and emeralds on market, but I'll try it out. Thanks again <3
Edit: are there any decent alternatives to tear of pirate cove? I looked in my bank and it turns out I took the 16eb instead of the bracelet as the quest reward whoops

Some solid advice, but that's pretty much what I did for Corrupter of Worlds, and I found that strategy made the battle a bit anticlimactic. If all else fails though, this'll be the plan.

If you want a nice long exciting battle, I would at least bring one lvl 100+ mage. This way you don’t have people destroying bob, instead you are the one that deals all the damage and has to work through all of his stages, all while gaining health from a mage ensuring you don’t die. However, it is still likely you could die, makes it more exciting nonetheless :)

Anything that gives mana regen works. I looked, and Reminisence seems like the best option

https://wynndata.tk/s/867z5f with Reminisence and with powders this time. Storm does 8,1k and combine that with Curse you should be able to even hit 20k storms if I'm correct

As a side note, in the battle killing the swords first helps a lot. Once they respawn, you should try to take them out quickly, but not so quickly that you would get into severe danger.

For the Archer phase, keeping Bob far from the middle of the arena works for me as that way he cannot shoot all the way to the other side.

The Mage phase has always been the most problematic for me. He can teleport, heal and chuck meteors at you. You need to have a solid and consistent damage output while avoiding him teleporting behind you and slamming a meteor at you.

The Assassin phase is generally the easiest for me. When he goes into Vanish as Archer you can spray the screen with Arrow Storm and if you hit hik, by looking at damage numbers you can see where he is.

The Warrior phase is very dangerous. He uses powerful Heavy Charges to circle around you and dash into you. He also has a dangerous combo of using Pull and then a strong spell. I'm not an Archer expert, so I don't know a good strategy for this part, but as Mage, when he was about to Charge, I freezed him with Ice Snake in that moment. I don't know how an Archer can benefit from that info, but good luck.

But without help the risk is 100% real and the battle is a true 1v1 against Bob. Even if the Mage is there just to support, the enemies can still target the mage.

Thanks for the help with that, I'm not all too familiar with the items yet. And yeah, killing the swords first does seem like a good thing to focus on, as they pack quite the punch! One of the many reasons for my death lol. I'm probably gonna hold off on another attempt for a while though, need to get a lot of items first and maybe up my level a bit. Thanks for all the quality advice on the phases as well!

Seems like a solid build! Not really my playstyle, but looks neat. If my next character's a warrior, I'll check this one out :D

This build acts very well as a tank, but the damage is not enough to solo and it uses a post-Bob weapon (that can always be replaced though)
