So about Garoth and Theorick, apparently in the quests it's said that they both got corrupted. Some of you may say that there was a time when quests didn't exist for dungeons (Afaik there was), but why would the quests be lore breaking (Somewhat) as they don't have a prefix with corrupted but in their corrupted dungeon they do, unless the dungeon quests came before corrupted dungeons, but still, it would kind of break the lore of LS and IB, and anyway Garoth said in LS (LS, not CLS) he was corrupted (It's like at the beginning) and in IB, Theorick hinted that his body was corrupted. So how do corrupted dungeons work?

My question about Detlas, is why it is so close to the Roots of Corruption (As mentioned in AHC by Bak'al I think), is that how it is?

corrupted dungeon lore doesn't exist so I guess they are just more corrupted

Theorick was actually never completely corrupted, he was always fighting against it.

Old Detlas was built before the Portal was found, though I'm not sure why they built the current Detlas in the same location

I think that Theorick didn't become completely corrupted thanks to his ice magic. As stated in "Explorer's Corruption Study", his magic slows corruption. (That is also why Nesaak is the least corrupted area). Garoth didn't have the power so he the Corruption took over his mind and body

Corrupted dungeons are (what I think) what might happen in the future if corruption takes over the world. Several bosses mention that you have come before (did the dungeon) and some sort of event

To provide hope to the province
According to the detlas world discovery (I think) it states that Detlas has served as a shining beacon of hope during the war, as it has managed to stand up against corruption in such a tactically poor place.
They would probably have no issues with moving to another, safer location, but the fact Detlas is set there and it is just slapping corruption hard is what makes it that beacon of hope for the province.

I believe that, besides that, detlas was rebuilt in the same place to serve as the biggest commercial city on wynn, and being located right on the middle is important to do that. The real question is why is elkurn where it is? it is literally in front of the only way out for the mobs coming out of the portal, and the place has no special features.

Also, about the corrupted dungeons, they dont seem to make sense lore-whise. I think it is just something the CT made to temporarily fill the need of high level dungeons without much work (just scrapping the dungeons that already existed).
