Fps Drops During 4th Phase Of Eo

Hi,

When battling the Eye, I usually get ~60 fps during phases 1-3. However, during the 4th phase, it drops to ~15 when looking directly at the Eye. Are there any specific settings I could adjust to reduce the lag?
I'm running Optifine and Wynntils, by the way.

 

You have max framerate unlimited and particles set to be lower?

I have a core I 7 and I get 30 fps with this in eo, it’s decent I guess.

 

1.Turn off clouds
2.Turn off vSync
3.Set particles to minimal
4.Set max framerate to max
5.Lower your render distance
6.Set smooth light to minimal

Fps and cpu aren't actually related, it's the gpu that matters

 

Minecraft is actually a CPU heavy game.. Your GPU won't matter as much unless you are running shaders

 

Unless you're using 1.15+ in which case GPU matters a lot since they completely overhauled the rendering engine. That being said, they're using Wynntils so I don't think GPU should be an issue.

 

A majority of Wynn players that are active enough to interact with the community on Discord/Forums mainly use 1.12.2 since it's the most stable version, but I guess it is a generalization
