Question About The Eye's Hitbox

Hello,
I started wondering how it must be to solo The Eye as a Shaman, since The Eye's name is displayed a little above the ground. For example, if I landed a totem close to The Eye and used Aura, would Aura still damage The Eye, since Aura works only for mobs touching the ground?

 

It would be ridiculous if you couldn't damage the Eye with aura. Of course you can, the name is displayed above the ground because an invisible mob is under it. That mob serves as the hitbox of the Eye.

 

I thought the same, just needed to make sure. Thanks!

 

However, it should be noted that aura can't hit the red things The Eye spawns in phase 1 unless the totem is airborne. Not a huge deal since totem can just block the projectiles anyways, but it exists.
